can you just hit the hinge pins out to take the door off, one of my doors need welding

I would just take the bolts out from the door. They are easy to line up again, I would leave the bulkhead bolts well alone (they may be well and truly stuck in and removing them will open a can of worms). I have done it this way several times now and it's never been a problem.
The pins don't come out so easily and you will risk damaging the door pillars etc.

I had both my doors off in the summer... need to take one off next week to replace a mirror.

If the door has not been off before I would get new screws/bolts just in case. If the hinges are ok then I would not replace.
As Dicomania says.... dont touch the pillar screws!
