Hi There,
My partner booked in with Williamson Components to have his van engine repaired, there was a lot wrong with it according to the company. He has paid almost £5,000 to them and we are now having trouble getting his van back, we live down south by Portsmouth and have no idea where his vehicle is. We drove to an address in Wolverhampton on Friday and when we got there found it deserted. He received a call yesterday to say the final payment had been received and that we could collect the van today however because of work commitments he could not collect today, we are trying to arrange to pick it up Friday but are both obviously anxious after reading this thread. On one hand I don't understand why they would call him to arrange collection if it was a scam but then the sheer lack of communication and not actually being able to pin point their location has us increasingly worried. He only bought the van last year for 12K which he took out a loan for, if we cant get his van back then this is going to ruin him financially, I really hope it is a misunderstanding and we get it back but we are so worried and stressed about it.
My question is for the guy who got his vehicle back, did you literally just go there and take it or did you make arrangements with them?
Thank you
HI I rang and told them I wanted my vehicle back and to return the deposit. I turned up and got my vehicle back, but no deposit.
So I set the all the authorities i could muster on them. So I guess they must be trying to clear the 50+ car yard (see photos up this page by hippo)
When they took my Vehicle I went with it to see what the business was.
I turned up 1 week later to see if work had started. It was in the 50+ car yard
week 3 I got it back ...With no work done.
Your email/paperwork will give you Telford TF3 3BA
FORGET THAT it will not help
search "TJS cafe TF3 3AT. Telford". This will put you within 50 yards of them.
Look for Leek truck repair workshop
go towards it.
on your left is Williamson Components
(see photos and Google sky map on this forum up this page for details as there is no company name displayed)
when you get there photograph and video everything and inspect your vehicle and make sure all is good as there are horror stories, told on this forum.
P.S Don't kill anybody ....... There's a queue...... A very long queue
But do take a big dog.
Hope your van works okay
Good luck.
You'll be first of the few.
