Hi Guys , I am hosting a Land Rover day at my Hotel/ Restaurant in Norland , Halifax on Sunday 16th from 12-5pm. Free entry

We are inviting Defender, Discovery and Range Rover owners to bring and show their cars . We are hoping to achieve a time line of these models from as early as possible right up to the newest models . The day is hosted by our local Land Rover dealer and we will be awarding prizes for Best in Show , Best in Class, Best Restoration, Most Ridiculous . The venue is The New Hobbit , Hob lane , Norland , HX6 3QL
It would be fantastic if you could join us , just give your name , model and year of car in this thread and we will register you . Thank you :)

Chopped pork springs to mind but you might get a better reception if you introduce yourself in the relevant section first

And its polite to introduce yourself before posting on the forum, even |I managed that one

a sort of meet and greet for landy thieves

hello nice to meet you touch my landy and i'll kill you
sounds like a good idea..:D

Wow , what a response to a perfectly civil and polite post . How very welcoming

Actually you are right, they are civil and polite replies for Landyzone. Especially as you didn't introduce yourself in the correct section and you are posting spam.

Think yourself lucky, you got off lightly :D:D:D:D:D

 We have an event coming up, we're keen to get the word out to as many as possible including other forums.

So what we've done is contacted the admins and asked if it would be ok.....it's the obvious polite and civil way to go about it.

Don't you think so?

Only just noticed that. He must not think they are proper Land Rovers :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

It's got the green oval in the middle of the steering wheel and on the back door...
Plus the drivers door seal leaks, half the bushes are shagged and the front half shaft seal is dropping oil like the Exxon Valdez...

:D :D :D
