Yeah I know about the engine as I have a 200tdi disco that has just failed it's mot on rust and that's why I'm looking at the cheapest way to get back into land rovering. I have always wanted a defender as while I know the disco is very capable the looks of the 90 look so much better.
How big a job is it to pit the 200tdi disco engine into a 90 ?
Think you'll find they are the same, cos all they did was bolt a turbo on a n/a.
The n/a is ok standard but with the turbo it can't handle it.
I think they did it as temp till the 200 tdi come out.
