Hi all,

My RR L322 has the famous sill rot/rust issues and looking to get them replaced as it’s at the stage it won’t pass an MOT. Looking for any recommendations of body shops that would undertake the repairs. I’m located in Fife but could go further distance as want them done right. Been to a couple of body shops but been a mixed bag of what they will do, I have found one guy that will do the inner works/welding as then it’s fit to get through an MOT but the outer he isn’t keen to do as says there are electrical cables running near the sill and doesn’t want to be cutting and welding near them… Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Do all the prep work yourself, that will expose the cables that you can then protect

The Guy that did our welding retired after doing ours, but in essence, the more of the prep work you do the cheaper the overall bill will be.
