While I'm in the way of asking questions, has anyone fitted LPG to their L322? I'm on the brink of ordering a Romano (sequential) kit and would welcome comments. I previously gassed my P38 4.6 with good results.

Yes i converted my L322 Four months ago and its been great , i had p38 for seven years with no problems whatsoever.
The only problem i had with my L322 was the insurance co they wanted to know how much i paid for the convertion and the name of the fitter and was he registered and i had to send them a copy of the certificate.
With a petrol RR its the only way to go with petrol now at one pound ten pence a lt.

Adam, thanks for that, I've read through them. I've taken the plunge and there's a Romano kit sitting in the corner of the garage waiting for the Chrimbo hols!, also a Rovacom on it's way.:D I'll update when I have some progress to report,

Hi Adam,
I'm not going to do it at the moment, I feel you may be addressing the symptom of a previous overheat rather than the root cause, as you said yourself. I will however be aware of the issue and will check my running temps. on both petrol and LPG using Rovacom rather than the guage. The gas tank is now installed and I am going to start running the pipe and wires up the body and into the engine bay. Then it's "only" a matter of the front end kit and ecomomy will be with me:D

Can I ask if anyone with a converted L322 has their air suspension compresser in a better place than sitting in the boot? I faffed about all morning looking for an alterative home for it, after all the spare wheel will live in the boot now and I'd rather not have the comp. there as well.
 
they bolted my comp to the bodywork in the nearside corner by the wheel jack and covered it in bubble wrap less noise, if needed i will unwrap it and have a look at the construction
