Yea true.... but while they work its great lol and I have learnt, no toys they still go wrong!
Easier to fix though. Plenty of toys are OK if it's not your daily driver or you have a reliable car as a spare.

That's just what I was thinking, spent enough on my old td6, more batteries than my ex,s vibrator, if I have to spend on a RR I want to have fun at the same time,watch my fuel bill go up lol
 
The 5.0 is known for timing chain guide rails, wearing.

Listen to it.

Make sure it isn't knocking.

Worth noting that the 5.0s injectors are noisy so listen deeper!

My money would be on the 4.2 or 4.4 for utter reliability and power!

The 5.0 isn't bad, just make sure you change the oil regularly, and keep an ear open.
