£28K will buy a nice reliable Toyota :D

We did look at the Toyota, his old work van destroyed 400k on a petrol lump, it just rusted away!

Anyway - if we can't get it fixed, I think he's looking now at a cheaper pickup truck, warrior/ranger etc.

I don't think he could stomach some of the repair bills of the newer RR's.

Warrior is better than the Ranger IMO, my Farmer friend has moved from a Ranger to a Warrior and it quieter and more comfortable.

No such things as repair bills with new Range Rovers, just weigh them in when they go wrong.
With the attitude of JLR dealerships these days, it would appear that their vehicles are made to be replaced , after 3 -6 years, not repaired. Which is a damn shame. Gone are the days of a dealership being happy, and proud, to still be looking after a car they sold 20 or 30 years before. They don't want anything out of original warranty through their doors now.

The trouble is they cant even fix some of the ones that are still in warranty:(

@BryanC123 just to come back round to the start, as we have wandered off a bit. Have you had anyone apart from RAC look at vehicle yet? Any suggestions from local indy of what they think?
Did you check battery status , together with doing diagnostics? Etc, etc, etc.
