hi! does the l322 come standard with the car? because i would love to get it running, there are no options for it on my car, neither do i have the key fob.

Sorry kiddo, just messing around. I did think it would have been standard?
It does pedend on the original purchaser of the bus. These engines should warm pretty quickly. ;)

Good point, look into an aftermarket heater? It may be worth while doing it with that rather than replacing something that may not have been added to the cars original electronic make up.

If you have electric power available, fit an electric block heater as they do in Canada, no smell, no smoke and more reliable than an FBH.

i did find this!

There it is, they will only cut in lower than 5° or something? They also get clogged and are not the best design. Datateks suggestion is a good alternative unless you can get it working?

Should be standard on Diesel but as said it doesn't work below around 5 degrees. I have a remote key fob but my FBH is faulty.
You can fire it up from the headunit if the option is selected. You can also set it to come on with a timer.

As per @backinblack if you look on the display you might have auxheat/vent showing in which case if you then select that a timer option will pop up, if on the other hand if only auxvent shows then the heating option has not been enabled in the car ccf but the good news is it it can be enabled with diagnostics (wasnt on mine but got the info off Gap diagnostics site and had it done) you could then look into making remote control`d, if you check in rear right side of boot near fuse board there might be a small black plug with three wires in it that is the connector for factory fit park heating remote control. I used a Velleman 2 channel remote to do the same thing on mine, the range is a little limited compared to the factory fit one but its good enough for my needs.
