Hi, first time here, hope you knowledgable ones can help.
Ive read various things about removing my lump, out the bottom and out the top, can anybody tell me which is it????? and has anyone any tips to make it easier, Ive done my old K series before and split the eng and box and just lifted it out but I dont want to get going then find itll only come out one way. I thought if it will come via the top it saves disconnecting driveshafts and IRD unit. Help please it would be appreciated, thanks
 
With it being an L series, it may come off the engine and come out the top, nut TBH, evryone i have done has been out to bottom. Not that much work to take the shafts out, and the whole lot drops down in 1 unit
