We need @lynall to answer that one. Have you seen his build thread?

I did indeed. Very impressive those trailer buildsDetails details - you knew who I meant!
Someones way ahead of him.The mind boggles. An off road caravan? I have this image of a caravan halfway up bum **** nowhere completely out of context to its surroundings? What do you mean by off road ? Best off road is a self contained vehicle i.e. A four by four; as in landys. What about other models?
Caravan bodies are normally a foamed layer with PVC on the inside and Aluminium on the outside.
Bespoke construction mainly.
We use truck body panelling from Aalco, NAPS - GRP/Polyester/GRP sandwich, very light but expensive, and CPR - GRP/Plywood/GRP sandwich, heavier but cheaper.
Aalco also do some of the foamed core products, see their catalogue:
www.aalco.co.uk/literature/files/aalco-road-transport.pdf (pages 95 to 98)
Extrusions are next day free delivery, panels are Monday delivery only on a dedicated truck.

Sides?Kicking a idea about, I camping and I like caravanning. I have a trailer chassis kicking around 12 foot x 7 foot I was thinking of converting it into a off-road caravan its still along way off. What are the panels called that they make caravan bodies from.
