hi all just done the most dense thing, busy sorting vehicles out in my yard, went to my rangerover put key in the ignition dead, lifted bonnet in anticipation of getting battery out put new battery to vehicle with jump leads and you guessed all locks fired shut S--t! anyone any ideas how to open my doors? bonnet still open. dont want to mess with coat hanger or break window if possible, many thanks for any suggestions, dave.

If you rule out Storms suggestion you are only really left with trying a coat hanger or similar bit of wire. The top of the door will prise out quite a bit so it is doable. On the bright side at least it isn't superlocked..:D

yes but they used to take weeks to arrive now seems a few days.then get autologic etc an switch off eka and immobiliser.you will need key to start always but can drop it in water etc and still get home. ps this a bit daft but how do i post a new thread topic as want help with a becm problem and new to forum.

You cant switch off immobiliser only passive immobilisation:rolleyes:

Or call AA, RAC, Greenflag etc. They can either do as aniesigh says or they'll airbag the door and pull the key out of the ignition or will wind down the leccy windows. They may even just hit the central locking button.
