ok found them on ebay "LAND ROVER MICRO SWITCH" couple of pounds and a soldering iron no probs.how the hell do you override the alarm tried 10 times but cant get it to work not sure if my door locks worn as when turned to lock or unlock the key stays there and has to be turned back to center i would like to turn it off until i can fix the fob.

Talking of keyfobs. When I bought my D2, both key fobs where in a right state, i.e cracked, push buttons broken etc. I called my local LR dealer and they wanted £28 for a replacement key-fob case! 
So I turned to that treasure chest of an auction site for D2 bits and picked up a pair of genuine LR key fob cases for £3 each I reckon someone at LR has had a box away. They came in the little LR marked plastic bag (which was masked out with a bit of sticky tape) and on the actual empty key fob case itself where it say's LR - that was also masked off with tape!!
