Have to say it was ok in the snow.....hate to admit it but the P38 gave a bit more feedback to how it was behaving, the L322 is a little more 'separated' from the driver due to the electronic trickery, DSC, CBC, EBD, EBA et al but sure footed nonetheless, even on road tyres!
Happy with it, but you do feel the weight when braking, ABS cuts in sooner than the P38 believe it or not, and the P38 was very ABS sensitive as it is!

yes you can definitely feel the weight, but that just keeps you more conscious of the danger ! lol
try turning off your DSC and flooring it... slides about everywhere ! lol

Maybe ok is the wrong word, it was great, but IMHO the P38 gave more feedback.....both are just as capable as each other in the white stuff....
Yep tried it without the DSC and trying to put 282 horses through road rubber was 'fun'.....!!!
I finally uplinked the downloads from my phone to updownlinkloadftpweb them to the intartubes the photos from my phone.
This is what my automacar looked like after being home for 30 minutes. I still find it mildly comical that there is a snow free zone where I park. It looks like I never take it anywhere but when I got home from work there was snow where I park. It just melted by the time I went out to take photos.

The P38 gives more feedback than the L322? The L322 must be truly awful as there's the best part of bugger all feedback on the P38.
I should have kept my Galloper and re-engined it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Dont get me wrong it felt assured and sure-footed enough, but with all the electronic nannying, you just felt a little disjointed from the car....still brilliant though....The P38 gives more feedback than the L322? Mine feels fine on the snow for pulling away and grip with Bfg all terrains as boots, I get feed back as when or if I accelerate hard you can hear the traction controll doing its stuff however when I had virtually worn road tyres things were defently a little differance much more slippage

That's what I said, the traction is brilliant. Driving on a road in bad conditions just as you would in good conditions, then blaming the car, that you should already know the foibles of, is a little tiny bit stupid. Except that story was an urban legend. But the rest of your post is valid. Too many people think because of kapooters you can drive in any conditions like the road is super dry. Those people are gonna have a bad time.

Perfectly true, that's why you'll see more 4x4s in ditches when the weathers bad. People think that cos theyre easy to get going, thelly be able to corner and stop just as easily!!
The bloke in the states had bought a big RV off a well known company and sued the company for $10 million.....and he won!! But then he lost when the company put in an appeal!! The company did have to put a specific set of instructions and warnings in the Owners Manuals about cruise control though!!
Just shows how stupid some people can be!!
