Hi all!!

I've just bought a range rover classic-really impressed with it. Just one little niggle though-in traffic today-the temp gauge got very high-not actually in the red but not too far off. Is this quite common? Or should I be worried about it?

It's a 3.9 V8 EFI

Where you stopping and going a lot? This can happen sometimes when their isnt sufficient air flow.

are the electric fans working properly?
is the stat cutting in at the correct temp?

Hey guys

thanks for your responses!

I've not checked the fans yet-will do that over the weekend-want to give it a good going over.

The lock on tailgate is pretty buggered too-think I'll replace the whole top part as it's rusted quite badly.
