Morning All,

On Friday for the first I had some burning on my foot, the left shoe was burned. I was in front of the car as it's loosing cooling fluid
so thought it dripped down somewhere and burned. Next day next shoe, even it felt like during driving this time. Had a look underneath the steering wheel but couldn't see anything except for the compensator from the fan hanging out. This morning
again it happened but I wasn't in front of the car so thought it must be something underneath the steering wheel. Obviously the compensator gets very hot and burned the shoes, also the boot this morning slightly.
If you get a hot left foot...

It normally can't get touched by shoes, as it's supposed to be inside the heater box assembly, where it is cooled by the air as it's passing the resistor pack. Presumably if its burning your shoes, it's not inside the cavity provided in the side of the heater box.

Nope it wasn't, I think I didn't click it in properly in when the fan went out last time and it slipped out while driving or through the vibration. It was in the heater box assembly though.
