Bin wondering when you was gonna pull yer finger out and get started on it:D

been at it since 2 days after yer brought it here

and a little update the engine is now in with the pump reconditioned ( by me :eek: ) and its just like you said fella runs like a dream and a hell of a lot more poke than the one i took out

all ive got to do now is replace the brake pipe ive busted wire the front lights and horn back in shove some radweld in ( as i accidentaly stabbed the thing when i slipped with the screwdriver ) give it an oil change and she should be back on the road again :dance::dance::smokin:
 
surprised at yer using radweld johnny, thought yer'd have soldered it!
(assuming its the rad your on about, not the brake line.....)
 
naah its a slight pinhole reet in the middle of the bugger sort of a tiny arcing jet when under pressure

and also an ickle split just above the bottom hose where i cant get in to solder it due to its close proximity to a load of original solder ( if i try it theres a good chance ill fix that leak and create another by melting more solder further along )

and besides for the cost of a bottle of radweld its worth the bother as ive had verry good results in the past with that stuff :D:D
