Hi all, I have a my 99 p38 and for the last 3 yrs it has been good to me. me .However this problem has me beaten I have abs/tc lights come on within 200 metres of moving. Nanocom shows no faults. when I look at the inputs however, 3 of the sensors are showing 2.35v and1 2.27v and the 3 at2.35v are showing 17km and the 1 at 2.27 shows 18km.I have a new sensor which reads the same. Today, I have bought and tried another ECU but that is giving me the same results. the input voltage measures at the pins is 4.9v.I cannot understand what I am missing.any assistance gratfully received. thanks
 
Any wheel bearing play, first bump and mine was on. Cured by stopping all play but this was on my RRC.
 
has anyone with a Nanocom got the time to take readings of the sensor voltages ,so that I can compare
 
I know this sounds crazy but bear with me, had this problem on my BMW Z4 not my Rangy and it all boiled down to low battery output, the trouble with all these cars nowadays is that so much relies on electronic signals and sensors if battery low it throws up all sorts of faults, worth checking battery voltage and alternator output
 
Just a thought, how old is the accumulator?
Have you checked the abs sensor wiring to and from the sensors?
I replaced my accumulator recently, I had done a check on all the sensors beforehand. I did have a difference in resistance on one sensor, I pulled all four out and cleaned the pickup rings, regreased the sensors and refitted just to rule them out. Hope you get some answers soon.;)
 
accumulator is 5 months old checked the wiring 4.9 v at the plug that goes into the sensor.I think its something I am not seeing,going to get an sd card today and try for a live reading of values if I can
 
Sorry, just seen this. Will try to have a look tomorrow if I can get the car off the missus.

Ah, mine's WABCO C and I don't get a sensor voltage option. Need someone with a post '99 vehicle with 4W TC, the WABCO D setup.
 
Mine show 2.33V on 3 corners, and 2.27V on one corner (LH Rear - even though Nanocom shows it as LH Front in the live data view - the labels are wrong!)

I had the ECU fault before with the LH rear sensor short to another sensor - though I did swap the sensor first with a cheaper aftermarket one that I had sitting here (and think that's still in there to be honest!) before pulling the ECU apart and finding/repairing the fault in it.

I've just had another ECU in there tonight that I've repaired for road testing. I'll try to remember tomorrow before pulling it out to ship back to the owner to get a picture of the sensor voltages for you.

When I did the ball joints in March,I had to replace the L/H sensor with a genuine L/R sensor. today I changed it for a new sensor I bought and the problem has gone.We will see what happens now.
