too bloody right ! would'nt have it any other way , have a works sprinter van but it aint the same and try to use the 90 as much as poss.
and if i get too comfy in the td5 i just jump in the old 87 deepender for a back to grass rutes (just wish i could run to a td5 and r380 to go into it :D)

Yus - main vehicle, always wanted one, and wake up feeling lucky every day. Feel very confident as its the first car/truck I have owned that I know something about and learning all the time. Gonna rub its belly in a few weeks with wire brushes and then waxoyle its bits. Trago Mills you gotta love that place for cheap tools/waxoyle/paint.

Discovery 3 for the wife and kids.
Mercedes C220 diesel for all those miles to work and back.
Defender 90 1985 with big lift on simex's for fun!
Each has its place in my life but the 90 needs more attention and gets more looks than the others.

My everyday car is the 300 Tdi Defender 90 and the wife has a Ford Fiesta.
Come the weekend we are all in the landy.

Lol Guess I am the only one to have to say YES.

BUT I would prefer to be back in my Discovery everyday and have the 90 for weekends!
Even though I seem to have bought the only one that has a working heater, it is cold when your only waring a suit and shirt! The road noise on a 200 mile drive sends you mad. And the manual box means you have to be awake to drive!

I hope to have the Discovery Auto back soon! And take the 90 out on dirty weekends.

Its a bit like having an wife and a girlfriend on the side! You want the wife to do the pratical day to day tasks and the girlfriend for the ditry torque at weekends!

I have a Saab 9-5, still a little while away getting my Defender back on the road!!!!

As I am going to respray it whats the best colour ?

It's white at the moment thinking of black!

my main car is a 1984 vw scirocco storm. not practical at all!! the missus drives the landy the 1hr journey to work and back every day. before that she had a brand spanking new polo but she got bored so wanted something with more character!
i drive the landy alot though if she doesn't use it as its a good change.

my main car is a 2.0 8v petrol laguna. My girlfriend had a polo before the landy, but sticking half a tonne of hay and firewood in it, and then going up and down sketchy farm tracks took it's toll on the suspension, and I managed to convince her she (I) needed a landy! ****ed suspension FTW!

defender is purely me toy,the doris has her xtrail.

but my second love is my works t5 transporter..looks like any other standard t5..

but it aint...its got the 174bhp engine it..ive never driven a van that is as bloody rapid as this is..it certainly shocks a lot of people at the traffic lights and on the motorway..

it has no blingy bits like the sport model has..love it..but not the fuel consumption

yes, an ex mod 90 converted from nad to 3.5v8 and my 2nd vehicle is a "genuine"...well that's what they said when they sold it me.....90 v8. the 3rd vehicle which is loaned out, is a s3 109 2.25 petrol.....good for moving furniture!:)

The disco was now the Defender has taken it's place as the fuel bill was ridiculous
Do drive the miss' car a lot though wont admit to what it is though:D

My 300 90's my favourite, but we also have a L322, a disco, and a smaller car (and three motorbikes for the summer.)

1988 '90 is now me daily driver
