They're not good pics and the article just says a '4WD', but it looks like a Freelander to me.

Ee do luke laike a Freelanderist, tiz true. Sheet uv 600 grit and a rattlecan, it'll be good agin.

no wheel on the back and roof bars different, Ivor yes the engine is the same for auto and manual the difference is the gear box.
 
The minor detail to be aware of if swapping manual to auto or other way round is that the manual has a pilot bearing in the crank end and it must be removed or the auto drive plate and torque conv won't fit!!
 
Don't the auto and manual use different injectors? Dunno if they would work as well with an ECU off the other.
