hi guys
ive recently overhauled the fuel tank in my series 2 2.25 petrol. ive bought a new fuel sender from bearmach and the new one differs in that the resistance/sliding bar and live terminal is located inside the tank, unlike the original which was located on top of the tank outside, away from any contact with the petrol.
is this safe? surly live open electrical connections are not a good idea in the petrol tank? or am i being paranoid here.
you thoughts and comments would be welcome.
