If you allow a morning or afternoon you will be fine
You have already started the job by removing the prop
Get hold of a manual or have a search on here or other forums - I'm sure it has been covered many times
It's a fairly straight forward procedure - as long as you have a socket set, some spanners and a trolley jack to take the weight of the gearbox once you have removed it's mount you will be fine
Access to a vice once you have the old unit out to get the bearing off would help too
Let us know how you get on
PS - you will be fine running about with the front prop off till you have the bits as long as you don't go rallying !
