Hi Fran I've just joined. I've just bought a 1980 Series 3 ex army soft top petrol 5 bearing in England. I'm an expat Brit living in Cork. Haven't imported the vehicle yet but soon will. Not much wrong with it that a paint job won't cure.

Hey sorry once again I've just got so little time at the min. Welcome to the group and don't worry we'll not hold the fact that you have a freelancer against you. ;)

Hi Folks,

I am a 2001 Land Rover Freelander owner living in the Blackwater Valley in County Cork.

If anyone of you has got information about get togethers or places to go to find parts and knowledge I would be happy to hear about it.
Hi once again apologies for not being on much at the min. I've no info on meets as of yet but I would like to maybe arrange one in the not to distant future with a meet, a spin across some rough stuff and maybe some pints after

Hi there from West Cork; currently have Freelander TD4 but changing to Series very soon. Always had landies - SIIA; 90's; TD5; changed to Freelander but miss the character of the old bone shakers; especially on West Cork roads.

Hello from truly stunning West Cork - there's a guy at Caheragh - David - who specialises in Defender's. Don Donovan recommended him to me as he is now focusing on newer models. I have a 94 300tdi 110 - needs work on the clutch. Chatted on the phone and he is 'sound'; will let you know how expensive in a couple of weeks as having it done sometime after Easter week as he has grand-kids over next week. Cyril at Beara is now semi-retired and focusing on vintage cars and landies. Not familiar with Series 1 but he has two in his yard; an old RAF and trad green - was amazed to see the trad green had 6 gear-sticks and a cut out section under the pedals??????

Was looking everywhere to get a spare key and fob .. Very expensive.. But found this man in cork.. €60 plus vat all in.. Couldn't believe it. I'm in Donegal but he comes to Sligo once a month so I set up a meet with him for then..

That now links to a generic page, the gentleman you mentioned is now on a different website in case someone is looking in the feature, used him a couple of times in the past few years. https://www.unitedlocksmiths.ie/cork-car-locksmith/
