I'm an expat living in God's own County beautiful Mayo. Just moved her last year with my 200Tdi and the O/H has a 90 V8. We are know as the couple with the (wait for it) Jeeps. Lol. No insult meant it's just what all 4x4 are called here.
Hi,can you see if my leather gloves are still near the bridge over the river, left them there in 1973,was in a bit of trouble at the time, hahaha.Hello from Strabane, another Irish rover
Yes,probably over the water after i left, lol.was a very exciting time when i was there.Ha ha ha, sorry about your gloves, they probably ended up in the wrong hands! But you never needed gloves in sunny strabane, always a warm fire somewhere in the seventies

In 73 I was only 9 years old, thankfully things have changed, the rumbling sound of a landy is now made by me! Always wanted a a2 snatch but don't think I would make the school run without a few heads turning lol Mybe buy one in twenty years time, start saving now lol
looks like Melmore head. We have a van across the way at Marblehill. Beautiful spot.View attachment 90218
Fantastic view though
Some great lanes in Donegal. They are old farm roads, legal to drive, some passable in a car (just) many need a 4 x 4. Best way to drive any local lanes is to join your nearest club. The NI LandRover Club have organised events in quarries and access to forestry land.Anybody know of any greenlaning spots in Ireland, jealous of the amount of ones there seems to be in UK. Mad to give my landy a bit of off road
