hi

i've used Lancaster insurance now for years and they, without fail, are always cheaper than others.

Plus they are helpful and the extras like breakdown cover are always needed!!

good luck

driving a vitara should be a crime

It was like dying bit by bit every time i drove it my brothers a big built 15 stone guy and looks like a proper tit driving it dread to think what i looked like 5.9 skinny all id need would be a wig and id look like a hairdresser ha ha

thats a load of blcks!!!

£3800 !!!!

When my parents got me insurance on the 01 (Y reg) Td5 90, fully comp as a named driver on my mums poicy,

NFU wanted around £1000,

coming upto 18 very soon, just renewed as about £900.

Thats because youre on somebody elses policy. Most companys dont let you build a no claims if youre on somebodys policy

Get this

I had a normal car which i passed over to my mrs when i got the landy, she was a named driver on my old insurance so we sold hers and cashed in on her insurance policy and decided to keep it as was, with me taking out a new policy on the landy. Means we can both drive either car for work, pleasure, etc.

I have 20 years NCB - been insured under me own name and never had a claim as long as i bin drivin (TW). I called the insurance company and told em all this and they wouldn't let me take out another insurance policy - said if i had a second one i'd have to start from scratch with my NCB again - anyone ever heard anything so stoopid??? Shirley the NCB is with the person driving, and a reflection of their safety/claims record, not the actual policy???

I've heard of that before, they dnt like you sharing the NCD. I tried to add another classic car to my policy the other day, its from the same group and they wanted twice the money for the premium. I can't drive both cars at once, so why is the risk higher?!?

My dads got 2 vitaras a 110 and a motorbike i know the bike is its own policy 1 vitara is in its own policy the 110 i know is with lancaster insurance and the other vitara my brother has to drive the now. So thats more policys than you really want to have the vitara is classed as a car and the 110 is classed commercial so they have to have the're own policy. To me thats stupid just because the 110 has no windows in the back its classed different even tho it has seats in the back. Bit of a bummer
