I fitted these exact tyres (insa ranger 235 65r17) last week to my 05 FL. I have a 40mm lift and 25mm spacers and the front tyres rub on the rear part of the wheel well. The quick fix was to take a Stanley knife and mitre the edge of the outer tread blocks. This made a big difference and now I only get a slight rub at a specific point ( about half lock)

Well as an update I have fitted General Grabber At3 tyres to my car. They are 225/65r17 and do not rub or catch at all and are an excellent fit on my Freelander which is un modified. On road they handle well with very little noise. I will comment on off road & winter/snow driving once I form a proper opinion. I am very happy with these tyres so far.

I had a set of Insa Turbo Rangers fitted to a Nissan Terrano.. Worst tyres I've ever fitted... Impossible to balance (two fitting centres tried). Fitted Hankook RT03s after which were brilliant.
Difference in price now between new and remolds not big enough IMHO to justify buying what is nearly always an inferior tyre.
