is it any good putting locktight on the bolts that hold injectors down as they come lose puma 2.4 defender

I wouln't have thought that was necessary, it isn't on my 300tdi, the correct torque should hold them tight....
Transit engines list 6NM and 180 degrees, which is a bit sketchy to be honest, there must be a torgue setting in a workshop manual somewhere ?

Fuel injector clamp bolts - Stage 2 Further 180 degrees

Are these new bolts, typically this 'stage 2 degrees' thing means the bolts stretch so you should always use new ones.

thanks for the info yes new bolts i am doing seals as the last ones came lose
