If you find someone, let us knowInjector the one with the sensor on it, is there anyone out there that refurbishes them?
Don't think the needle lift sensor injector can be refurbished. Happy to be proved wrong though.Doesn't 'Diesel Bob' do them?
Unusual for the sensor to fail, the usual problem is diesel leaking out round the epoxy seal. You sure it's the sensor at fault?I will have a ring around and a google, otherwise I will have 2 perfectly good injectors and fubar sensors on them
Sensor seal leaked on mine i even tried chemical metal on it and still ****ed out
"Chemical metal, still ****ed out" are they the minutes of the NASA development meeting?
I will stick it on diagnostic first... something should come out of that (yes I took it to Max) someone banged the wife's car so had to go near there to sort it out, he said he will do a diagnostic, but he suspects it could be the injector, I am getting intermittent power and when on the motorway, I can feel it giving power and then stopping it like 6 times on and off over a few seconds, and sometimes on acceleration from stop, it lacks power then other times its ok and accelerates as it should, same on kick down..
