I'm In desperate need of some advice, how on earth do I get this dam injector out!!!!!

I've managed to get pots 1,2 and 3 out with varied amounts of difficulties but pot 4 won't budge!!

Tried spanners, mole grips, socket and stilson all whilst using a lot of lube, the top end of it is now well and truly rounded to the point that the stilsons are struggling to grip it, I don't want to take the head of if I can get away with it so all advise welcome and needed.

Cheers in advance.

get a nut what will screw on to the injector and then weld a washer to the nut. then use a slide hammer and it will definately come out. ive just had to do this to get mine out and they were in real tight and took a good couple of smacks with the slide hammer.when you refit them use new washers and put a smear of copper grease on the injectors.

easiest way is to buy a injector removal tool mate really easy then rather than risking buggering it up completely

Whatever method you use NEVER try and get them out by undoing the clamp and then turning over the engine to loosen them!!!! There are a few suggestions of removal on Youtube.

No but i have seen one come out of an engine and it would have done serious damage if anybody would have been in its way! the method i first suggested is very easy and saves you from having to buy a removal tool.

does it even twist with a spanner? if you have already killed it and need a new one and the thing still wont budge unless your planning on buying a slide hammer then get a pillow case with some foam in the bottom and position over the injector and just crank it over. make sure you in a garage or somewhere open with no one else around. you dont want to be known for killing someone with an injector

The thing is well and truly stuck, slide hammer is no longer an option, think i might go with turning it over option!!

or get under it and turn it over yourself with a spanner or socket it wont be under as much compression as you can only compress it once where as the starter with do it several times to your one

How did you get on with this ?
I used a make shift slide hammer :)

Make sure you take the bonnet off and anything else that could be in the flight path of a jet-propelled injector !!!

No need just make a catch MIT out of anything soft and build it up then bungee it over injector, you don't want to let this just fly out

Well so far got 3 out and the 4th the top separated has now from the bottom bit (unscrewed) I have a friend who's an engineer and he's making me a tool that will screw on top of the injector and pull it out, so now its a waiting game.
