Hi Guys

I have recently put a thread on here about my alarm only going off at night and the drivers door apparently being the problem, I think it is parking it under phone wires. Last night and about the same time, all the indicators were on, side repeaters flashing, front ones on permanent, no warning on the dash and once turned off, all fine again. Alarm did not go off (siren).

I do lock it at night with just the key now and that seems to have sorted it, I think it doesn't like being on its own at night and therefore wants to wake me up for some attention!!

Duff RF receiver or wet carpet in the drivers footwell. If it's the receiver, it will burn your door locks eventually.

Check your r/f receiver is it the latest version. It could be picking up spurious signals from wifi, door bells, garden weather stations etc. If this continues it could burn out the front door locks as the car relocks the doors when the alarm is woken up. You can disconnect the aerial lead from the r/f receiver and use your remote close to the o/s/r window or year dependant (pre 2000) I believe, disconnect it completely and use the key.

You obviously haven't got the new RF receiver yet, at least disconnect the blue cable there is the antenna.

Can end up costing small fortune to repair if you don't do anything:eek:

It sounds like you'd better do something pretty quickly. Your RF receiver is playing up causing the locks to trigger but if you're serious about your side repeaters flashing whilst the front indicators are on permanently then you have BECM issues. As DATATEK says check your carpet on the driver's side for damp but you'd better check your BECM plugs as well - and you might want to get Rick-The-Pick's number on your speed dial because you might be needing the BECM god some time soon.
