Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and to Land rover's. I have owned a 1986 90 for about 6 months now and used the headlights for the first time this week to find i can't indicate right with the headlights on. The indicator's and hazards work fine until the headlights are switched on, I can signal left but not right. When i push the stalk up with the lights on i get nothing. Hope someone can help.
Thanks Nicky

Pull the plastic shroud off the column and have a look at the switch unit. They are incredibly crude with exposed contacts etc. It might just be needing a bit of metal bending to make a contact. Or a new switch won't break the bank. A lot of indicator faults are caused by the hazard light switch too.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry should of said i have tried a new indicator stalk and tested the hazard switch too.
