because your going to:

Step 1: Adjust it to its most vertical position. :)

Step 2: Stand over said tow bar. :D

Step 3: Drop to the floor quickly

Step 4: Never have silly thoughts again, and certainly never post them on a forum!

Its a landrover not a ####ing range rover sport with 22" spinners init!

i just want a sub to add depth to the music i listen to in the landy?

im the same lad i want to add some better speakers, i think its there age there into all that gay **** let it go over your head untill someone posts a decent reply ;)

they fail to relise you dont need bass to listen to classic fm.:violin:

All you'll hear is panels rattling! Everyone will think a swarm of angry wasps are coming for them

sound deadening is needed first, you'd be suprised how much bass you gain by it not all being taken into the bodywork.
not sure on the those slim sub thingys, Id go take a listen somewhere first, im not 100% convinced a box that small can create much bottom end.

on a landy you fit a snorkel for depth

Lol I like it !

Geeze don't worry about the fogie's

I put my amp in with the battery got speaker spacers for the front ones as there is not a lot of room and pioneers in the back either side off the rear door sub in back behind the bulk head the cheap Halfords one alpine head unit ,

I turned it up for full depth and the rear windows fell out !

Not really you will need some rubber tho !!!

dont worry matey i had twin 12 inch subs and a pair of 6x9s at one point in a series 2a but your head unit will take a sub and amp no problemo, andit depends upon what your budget is have a look a ebay and look for vibe or sony xplod or kenwood they are decent value for money and take a bit of blowing up and a stand alone amp is what i like or just go down to halfrauds and pick up a all in one unit for £100 but it wont be as good as the stand alone sub with a decent amp and get the best wiring kit you can afford about 30 quid gets a proper decent one with cables that will run a 1500 to 2000w sub no problem with quality cable all round and have a search on here there are a few write ups to fitting a sub and amp to a land rover
