Hi not new to Lrs but new on er, drove from sheffield to gambia across Sahara and about to drive back, just had to replace fuel pump, car is v heavy loaded with our stuff, long range tank, water tank roof tent etc etc, oh yeah it's also the v8 we have, everyone we tell tells us we are mental for not getting td5 but I say f em, tdi td5 are for sensible people, you know what driving carefully with the 3 tonne wagon we get 21mpg... Not bad in my book. Well that's my intro , got a post on here about chassis rust , German bloke out here put fear of god in us about chassis being buggered, don't think it is but he is convinced ... No pleasing some Germans (no offence German lr fans) (are there any)
