i rang flux for quote, lmao.. 2002 l322 petrol upgraded 2006 facelift. otherwise standard.low mileage, sg13 postcode . 46, no accidents or points ever. 1600... 4 times what i pay now.. so guess i wont be using them either

I renewed with Glynwood again this year top service as always.

I didn't even bother with Flux after reading all the complaints on here.

well again tonight i have had good service from them tonight rung up to add another person on to my policy 10 minutes before their closing time and all done with no problems and fresh email with new policy came through straight away. even got a bloody refund on my policy price after adding him on. bonus :D

i'll never use AF again, the people they use for their installment collection ended up costing me the loss of my cover and 4 years NCD just because they couldn't follow basic instructions.
It was only because my direct line policy was still ticking over on a vehicle that was off the road at the time that i was able to remain mobile.

so..............who did you go with?

Adrian flux you are a typical middle man insurance broker !

Your not even dedicated too landrovers especially 110 models

You said you would monitor this update answer questions ,what a waste of time nothing but salsman bull.... How you ever got accepted with false promises I will never know:

How's this.... I have always maintained that having a tracker does nothing to reduce your premium in most cases...

Hastings Direct quoted me for a mondeo yesterday.... as soon as they said "does it have a tracker" I naturally said that it did.

"Oh they said.. that will push the premium up"

"UP?", I said..."Why's that?"

"Because firstly it adds to the value of the vehicle... and secondly when a vehicle is stolen and damaged we prefer that it is NOT recovered"

Apparently if the vehicle IS recovered then the original owner is allowed to insist on an expensive repair rather than accepting write off status. With this in mind the Insaurance company would prefer to assist the thief to keep your vehicle....

How ****ed up is THAT!

Get it in writing and forward a copy to all the national papers and to the insurance Ombudsman and ya local MP. :D

I found AF quotes extortionate, not to mention the rip off fees if you pay monthly. I've always had my insurance with the NFU (apart from the 1 year with AF), the NFU have offices all over the country and its easier to pop into a local office and talk to someone rather than AF's call centre, I also have my house and buildings insurance with the NFU.

What I really want is a contact for someone inside the insurance industry. I am convinced that using my devices I can create systems that truly offer protection for houses...garages... lock ups... cars and vehicles...boats caravans etc that will make everyone more secure. It seems though that the insurance companies are unwilling to look at these possibilities.

Assholes

FCUK me another vehicle a mondeo. how many motors you gone through in a year!
I know, I know, but the Modeo cost me a little less than a new headlamp for the chrysler... and I needed a second car for the school run now we have four children at four different schools!

Just had a reasonable quote from Adrian Flux - £373 for a van converted to a station wagon. Lancaster quoted £900! NFU Mutual were somewhere in the middle at £531.
