I understand mate but wat im trying to say is ....... lets imagine i enter calibration mode, input 20", then i measure arch to rim bottom, as it stands mine is at 830mm so i will input ( with your theory ) 815mm yeah ? BUT as im LYING LOWER than wat it ACTUALLY is the vehicle WILL RAISE !!!! IF, i inputted lets say 840mm, i would be LYING 10mm HIGHER than the ACTUAL measurement, this WILL LOWER it by 10mm !! As storey says to HIGHER suspension input LOWER and to LOWER input HIGHER !! My problem is its already ABOVE the landrover 800mm possible input SO IF, 800mm was inputted (lower than actual) the suspension WOULD RAISE !!

i know where your coming from, but this is the way to achieve what you want.i understand landrover say they cant do it. im pretty sure an all comms unit could perform the task

Use All Comms...

Set it to 20"....

Measure....

Deduct Radius Difference....

Jobs a goodun....

(Max Input for All Comms I think is 840)

Right lads, i put 20" in to computer, take my measurements lets say front 830mm an rear 800mm DEDUCT 25mm from all eg front 805mm rear 775mm cos these are wat it really is on 20" yeah. then input these an you guarantee the suspension WONT RAISE ??? Cos if it does im in BIG trouble cos i wont be able to lower it at all as it will be above the 840mm max ??? TBH wouldnt it be hell of alot easier just to buy lowering links for it ????

OR AS IVE ASKED BEFORE IS THERE A GURU LOCAL TO ME WITH ALLCOMMS THAT WOULD COME/MEET ME TO DO IT AN ILL PAY YOU ????

Go to your car now and measure the bottom of your 22" wheel (NOT to ground) to the dead centre of the wheel - be as accurate as possible

Then put your result on here

I will then reply

RS2000CUSTOM the rim edge to rim centre is 300mm. PAULVASEY it cant possibly get any higher there is a 150mm / 6" gap between tyre and wheel arch lip !!!!!!!! I could fit my head in it mate

OK my 20" wheel is 274mm edge to centre

So personally I would use the 20" wheel settings and using your 22" wheels I would deduct 26mm of your readings and input this when calibrating suspension

It is not 100% accurate but will be near enough

sestorious - I am sorry to be bearer of bad news but my money is on the following

Detach the compressor pipe to T-Piece in the boot with key out and I bet air escapes and car goes down to bump stops on one or more corners !!!

Reading all of your "issues" methinks you are into a Solenoid Valve block the same as which I have just replaced on mine (see my thread - HERE)

Thanks for confirming that mate. BUT im still just leaning towards lowering links cos tbh im scared summat will go wrong again wat u reckon mate

Your air bag or bags are over inflating not because of the ECU or the height adjusters it is because the solenoids are not controlling the air being fed to them and they are continually inflating (as mine were)

Where r the solenoids ? How can you be sure its them ? The suspension hasnt got any higher since ive got it back so they rnt constantly inflating ?

surely if its getting the wrong values it could over inflate and burst the bags ?!?!?

Mine would go from "normal" to "high" without any warning and I found it was down to the one-way valve sticking open within the solenoid prior to it failing completely

The one-way valve is within the plastic bit inside the end of the plunger

Took a while to find it but I got there in the end

How hard was they to change ? How much was they an also wat method did u follow eg deflate system or do this that etc how sure are u this is my fault ? I dont seem to have a problem with it inflating just wont calibrate or lower ?

Good call mate BUT it only wont calibrate on the landrover T4 dye to not being able to enter the correct values as they only went up to 800mm ! Its not been tried on anythibg else eg allcomms ? Dont suppose you have one do u ? Also how much was solenoid an how hard long to fit ? Ps just read your interestin post but nothing that happened to you has happened to me eg pressure static / compressor overheating / rear bags inflating everything works fine an its not over inflating wats your views on lowering links

sorry, i wasnt aware the system wouldnt lower, i thought you said it was working correctly? and that it was just at wrong height
