Have to say, I drove the 740 last night to run some errands, and the L322 today to pick up my daughter from nursery.....oh Air Con....how I miss you in the 110....
I wonder if it is possible to strip the 4.4 V8 M62 from the Bimmer with the aircon and retrofit in the Deffie??

Or just get aircon for your 300TDi? It is an easy enough conversion. We did have a lot of the plumbing for 300TDi aircon at work, but I think it got sent to a RM unit when we sent them our Snatches.+1....so do I in the 110.....and only when the airflow from all the other holes isn't sufficent!
