Hi all just an update on rev/vibration problem,
Ended up stripping ecu to check for oil which was dry, cleaned everything as usual,changed fuel pressure regulator for a bosch one from an audi all no change, anyhow last month or so been getting a loud airbox sounding type of noise and after several times over a while ive rotated viscous fan with all different levels of tension from it ,anyway this time felt way to stiff at cold had to move it with force so after double checking with thoughts on the fan from james martin decided it was fubar and could be cause of new noise,so decided on a second hand genuine one at 25quid to try, drove it today truck felt different, noise gone and all of a suddern it revs clean upto 3000rpm and i mean hardly any vibration and doesnt struggle to rev which i found strange! But after changing pretty much everything the fan has had a great improvement to driving the thing!
