As title says really, what's recommended for HT leads for a 4.6 running on LPG?

Are the magnecores worth the extra cash, or just go with the standard ones?

Standard set is £27.99 from P38 Spares, the Magencore 8mm ones are £129.99.

I don't have any specific problems with my ignition, other than it needing to turn over a few times before starting, but the cables on it at the moment are (I think) the original ones, so after 150,000 miles it's probably time to change them.

I think it is the plugs that get hammered on LPG rather than the leads so standard probably OK. @ukadamwest and @Saint.V8 have played more with LPG though. Think Adam might actually have tried Magnacore.

i dont have magnacores i have standard OEM leads as i couldnt credit the extra cost for magnacores. LPG wears the plugs down quickly ive tried the super duper LPG special plugs at premium cost and found no greater longevity than BPR6ES plugs at £16 a set of eight and change them annually ! if turns pover a couple of times before firing thats a petrol issue as it will start on petrol and switch over at a given temp as the vapouriser needs engine heat to vapourise.

as tim when you do the HT leads you'll have a faff getting to the coil packs as they sit between the rear of the inlet manifold and the bulkhead. my LPG coolant lines run right over just to make it even more restricted. make sure you get the old HT leads cleanly as the contacts do corrode and get weak then youll have to get the coil pack out to remove the broken end. ask me how i know this !!

I have magnecores and there ok.basically better put together. Worth the premium asked....nah but definitely worth a bit more.
If it's turning over a bit before starting check the cam sensor
