Nah, just one of these

You make it sound like I went searching for something to deliberately make some weird point, I didn't I just searched for "most humane way to kill a rat"
The UFAW is a respected bunch They combine with the RSPCA and the IAT did you actually bother to find out who they were?
Tells you why poison isn't a great way of doing it and I got this link by going to the gov.uk site first.
Which also said that if you catch a grey squirrel humanely you are NOT allowed to release it back into the wild again.
Actual quote from gov.uk
"It’s an offence to keep or release some wild animals, for example grey squirrels - you must kill them humanely if you catch them alive."

As the bpca say rat traps often don't work cos they are wary of anything new in a garden. Altho they may if you take your time.

One or two people a year die out of 50-60 cases of Weils disease each year. Which is why it isn't "Love your rat week" round here at the mo.

If that trap is automatic, that trap sounds quite good.
Eye did look up who the websites were. Despite being o'fishal they back themselves into a corner on info on humane options available. Traps can't be 100% but peeps ain't going to want to perform a kill themselfs. Fings like poison wuks. Problem is getting the rat to it. A burger is more tempting.

This is our trap

Cant be as we can still buy the sticky pads & glue for rodents. Got a link to say its Illegal.
Its covered in the wildlife management and muirburn scotland act 2024. Haggis munchers have different laws to england and wales.

General public can't buy them but professional pest controllers can. If the bills have passed setting it up then it should become law.

No we dont, same as when we go to Spain to you go & visit Felipe or do you go to the beach wi yer blow up crocodile n sun tan lotion.
Eye is scared ov crocodiles. When visitors come to the uk some are interested in our king/queen history. Where they lived and going to the castles and houses they lived in. Bear int mind not all countries have the rich tapestry or royal history we take fer granted. Many peeps find it quite interesting.

Yer the clue is above "history" as in past tense so we dont need them to be there hoovering up the uks money
so boot them out to a council estate near you cause we dont want them.

I had a pleasant trundle over from Leicester to my place in Wales yesterday afternoon, as it was nice and sunny I was able to do some proper Land Rover driving with my window down and my elbow on the window sill. Consequently, when I saw Land Rovers coming the other way, I could administer the level 2 Landy wave with arm outside the car.

Morning All. :D
The passive-aggressive stuff continues. Wifey gets asked on the whatsapp grp "who's putting Nan to bed tonight?"
This is something entirely new, and my wife was at her mothers or doing her shopping/cleaning her mother's house for most of the day yesterday so it wasn't going to be her was it?
NVM, it's a nice Sunny day today. :)
I am hopeful that some mini parts will arrive in the post. Have a great day. :D
