Ok for scrap thenYou are not the only one. At least W tends not to set foot in the garage so I can at least hang onto stuff that otherwise I might have to get rid of.
I've got a 4 speed Cortina gearbox, if that is any use?! Or a rather suspect Dolmite Sprint MOD one. (Stored outside with no ATF in for YEARS!)
Joking apart, best of luck sorting it!
Hardest part of the job, it was rather stiff..and did you find the stop cock?
Iβll not bite in this Fredβ¦Hardest part of the job, it was rather stiff..
Depending on how much I'd have to do to get it back together the Dolly Sprint box would be worth money, it might even be worth summat as it is.Ok for scrap then
Sounds great! I hope you made loads of money. I think country folk are generally a bit more friendly than townies.Well that was a full on show! Absolutely knackered lol. Met some great people. I really enjoy living in the sticks, the folk are so friendly.
Most of the stuff I make to please myself and learn "how" ends up as scrap in the end.Depending on how much I'd have to do to get it back together the Dolly Sprint box would be worth money, it might even be worth summat as it is.
Pinto stuff is always worth dosh, I have a complete engine including ancillaries, a 4 speed box and another head.
Other bits of B series engines, etc etc.
If it really was only worth scrap I would have scrapped it by now. I don't have the room to store stuff that is of no use to anyone!
We have an account with a proper scrap metal dealer near us.
Did you not undo the gland nut a bit to ease it?Hardest part of the job, it was rather stiff..
Glad you had fun!Well that was a full on show! Absolutely knackered lol. Met some great people. I really enjoy living in the sticks, the folk are so friendly.
Ooh get you with your plumber talk. No, it was the valve in the street upstream of the meter, down a two foot hole. If I was bothered I'd exercise it more oftenDid you not undo the gland nut a bit to ease it?
Precisely why I let the plumber fit my new stopcock.Ooh get you with your plumber talk. No, it was the valve in the street upstream of the meter, down a two foot hole. If I was bothered I'd exercise it more often
If I'm honest I'm not sure we have one! Given the fun and games you've had I'm happy isolating the entire house. Only took the time for a cup of tea to be drinkable..Precisely why I let the plumber fit my new stopcock.
Do we assume that the in house stop cock wouldn't isolate your garden tap?
Hmm but you asked the question. Possibly if it was free you would have.Do you think id be silly enough to tow a boat in the snow oh wait a min dont answer that.
