Plumber cannot "operate before the 27th. :(
And that is the one day in the next couple of weeks when we will be out all day and the do cannot be moved, so it'll be further on than that before it can happen.:(:(
Think I will have to have another go myself. See if the present pump is salvageable in anyway. I cannot make things worse than they are.
Hey ho.
But it is miserable living in two rooms.
This time I'll drain the system. Flip the gate valves!
;)
With the age of the old pump and the fact it leaked from the electrical part just by a new one and gate valves fit it together making sure its pumping the right way, you can undo and turn the body so the elec bit is the right side, drain it down and swap as one the old pump will not be repairable and will always be a nagging time bomb you will be in France wondering if its going to to leak, fit new and forget.

Morning All. :D
Nice crispy morning out there today for us. :)
My Flow-sensing CH pump is pushing heat all round the system quite nicely thank you, and the boiler is chewing its way through fivers as I type. :)
Mrs. C has had a little lie-in, bless her. :)
Not sure I want to be playing out in the workshop today. :)
Have a Wonderful Wintry Wednesday. :D

Lost my uncle Pete today, 😢 he was a 6ft 4 policeman got a brain tumour 12 years ago & they gave him 10 years but 6 months
ago they said he wouldnt make Christmas & they were right. I didnt see him in the end I got my Aunt to give him my love last night & I hope he wasnt in pain. My dad said its the worst living person he's seen just a skeleton with skin. For the last week they have been giving him morphine no water, why dont they just give people a jag. If that was an animal we would do the decent thing & put it out its misery. Bloody shame to suffer for months like that. :(:(:(

RIP Uncle Pete..
Sorry for your loss mate. Poor old fella. RIP Peter.

Don't worry, I am only going to try and see if I can get it going until the plumber eventually turns up.
This was never envisaged as a longer term solution!
He wanted to come and change both the pump and the motorised valve on the one day in the next fortnight when we both will be away from the house.
But he will be coming some time after that so we'll have all new stuff.
Ta mate!

Afternoon/Evening folks :).

So another bright sunny day albeit a bit windy. Brolly away without any ladybirds.
Mum sent me a message/pic they have a smattering of snow:oops:, We usually get it before them, maybe Dad will get to beat me to building the first snowman of the year;). They live in the most easterly point/area of the UK.
