I wish you'd tell that to my phone cos as soon as October came around it stopped working. I had been warned this would happen.
It does still send texts. But I'm pretty sure it will still work in France.
It would work in the UK if I had "4g calling" compatible, also known as VoLTE, but I don't. According to "g" they are switching it off area by area, I have just failed to be able to check it using my mobile as for some reason it doesn't accept my postcode.
I'll have another look online on my lappy, to see if I can check my area that way, but to put it simply, I stand in my garden where we get best signals and I cannot get one.
Just done it, This is what it said.
"Yes – Excellent service
Great news - 4G is in your area. If your device is 4G calling compatible, you'll have excellent 4G coverage for calls, texts, and mobile internet."
and having checked my device I know it isn't calling compatible, which they have been telling me for months now.
Mine is an Alcatel 3V 5099Y
Find oot which netwurk provider yer using. o2, ee, 3 or vodafone. Go on their web site and look at the map of signal coverage. It will be a map of what looks like a rainy day. Zoom in to see what signal strenth yer got.

Text messages are on 2g. It is true 3g is being switched oft to make room for 5g by reusing the frequencies. But that dun't mean 4g won't wurk where yer gottid signal.

Either:
Yer fones broked
Yer signal is weak
Yer dun't have 4g coverage. Move into it and yer gerrit.
Yer fone is old old crap that dun't have a good antenna. Thas wot yer get wiv old 2nd hand fones.

Just sat waiting for a drum of oil via UPS, supposed to be here this afternoon but cancelled that saying that it would be delivered by end of day.
Goin out for tea ffs, givin them till six then I'm off for me hot pot
Got rained off (drizzle) doing my lights on truck, got six soldered up with another 20 to go, then the cab lights and bumper lights :)
Be doing the Coca-Cola add with all of them don't forget the sign Christmas is coming 🎄

I do love it so much when you tell me off for doing something I didn't know I shouldn't! This is the first secondhand phone i have ever bought and it worked fine until 4g started flipping around.

It is with 3 which is how I know I have no coverage, because, of course, I went on the internet to check what coverage I have. Or rather I do but cannot talk as I don't have a phone that is 4gVoLTE or "calling" compatible. Still works for texts, internet etc.
So none of the above "Yer" statements are the reason. The closest would be "Yer fone is old old cr@p that doesn't have 4gVoLTE." They've switched it off for peeps like me so that I go out and by yet more of their carp. so they will simply lose a customer.
My really old Motorola V171 on Tesco Mobile pay as you go, still works fine, I can still talk on it and send texts and apparently even use it with the internet if I could be bothered to find out how. It cost peanuts new. And it works on the strongest signal it can find.
Nothing wrong with the antenna, on either of my mobiles. It works as well as any of our phones here and in Frogland.

Dry and sunny yet again today.
Found that "we" have accdentally burned kitchen paper onto our blasted induction hob. "Someone" put an empty oven tin down on a ring and the hob, cos it's "clever" and "electronic" sensed it and turned itself on to cook stuff in it. Only there was nothing in it. So, a sendwich of kitchen paper, special protective mesh, kitchen paper has gone black and there is evidence through a ring of colour under the meat tin.
I suppose I had better go and clean it up while I continue to wait for the chentral heating system to cool down. Have to do this before chasing the airlock(s) apparently.
Have a nice day folks!
:):):)

Where did you get that from?
As you have an ATM system there is no extra pressure, I suppose it could be cos the water you bleed maybe blooming hot.
Is it better?

Who was the "somebody" or did you just take the blame, sometimes easier ;).
