Obviously missing the scaffing. We done not too bad considering, roughly 180 slates including cuts at the far away gable end. It was scorching & the
sweat was dripping off me having to go up n down the ladder, having to move it every 8 slates plus carry them up one ladder
and go along the roof & down the other ladder to start at the far side & work back.
I will take a couple of pics tomorrow.
Yesterday I think I put on about 250, so its been a great couple of days & I cant thank my pals enough.
Love the Vulcan, did you catch the tail number? The one at Norwich airport was one of the ones that flew to the Falklands.
So over there you pick up UK spot beam ? We lost it all when thay switched and we didn't want a 3 meter dish so all on the internet now with a VPN no down time only in a really bad storm . I think most fan ovens are 13 AMP from what I rememberMornin' (well, ish)
Often mucking about with satellite dishes here and have some pole brackets to sort out but otherwise not a lot of dish action. Set up one temporarily on a fence pole the other night, was pleased to get the sat after a couple of minutes, remembering roughly where to point it and the elevation still fixed set up from last time. Hoping to set up a multi-LNB bracket on another dish to eliminate that dish coz too many of them is a bit ugly
Yesterday's big job involved ovens - I know there is some history on here re. that subject which may cause some to groan... Long story short involves 3 ovens, the original one in this house was busted after a lightning strike (prone here as well it seems ).
Replaced that with a gas one removed from elsewhere but plumbing in a gas insert oven is a bit of a pain unless there is access from the side or back so this time brought another electric fan oven with us and swapped it. Connected up and ran some tests to see if it trips the supply. I was not convinced given the main breaker is 15A but it was OK Today might see if we can run it with any other appliances on at the same time...
XM594. I had a climb up into the bomb bay, up a set of steps and stuck my head in. Could carry up to 21 bombs, or have extra fuel tanks ( one at the front or one at the back, or both tanks) and carry less bombs. I could have had a look in the cockpit but thought I might not fit in, (and it cost a sov to have a look).Love the Vulcan, did you catch the tail number?
That one took part in bombing raids too.XM594. I had a climb up into the bomb bay, up a set of steps and stuck my head in.
