Do crows eat hazel nuts?
i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt place them in the road to get run overOur Jays (same family as crows) eat our walnuts. They will find the 1s on the road that have been cracked by the cars, and will often take whole 1s away.
They are clever birds.

Same by use nice in the Sun but are grass is definitely not growing .but the trees are starting to bud up good sign forecast is no Sun for 10daysAfternoon folks .
Well it don't feel like Feb weather here, good or bad as that may be.
Started work again in the East wing as it don't freeze me fingers oft now. Looking at the possibility of getting the lawnmower out soon too.
Its warm in the sun, M came back from her afternoon walk with her hoddie tied around her waist .
Still lighting the fire most evenings just to warm the air for the evening, and put a little heat through the heating.
M made some Egg, Bacon, Mushroom & Cheese pies yesterday No not a flan or posh Lorraine, A pucker Breakfast pie, Egg is put in whole. Without the shell of course.
All LR products working and not giving me an excuse to go to the garage.
I see everybody is fine, and checked in recently so thats good news.

Have found that to thay do say PV production in cold weather is greater but as you say could be the Angele still a bonus though I have made enquiries about turbines so hopefully will be up and running for next winterI was just looking at the trees and to my untrained eye it seems they are doing something .
We have been in a fully charged state and float the last 3 days (wasting sunlight) the panels must be just at the right angle for this time of year .

Don't want to increase are battery bank looking for a more permanent solution
This guy has a novel approach to solar. I like his "Sun-Tracking" pantograph to maximise the Winter sun.We struggle in the winter months so are looking at fitting some Better angled (3 panels) for the winter.
We wanted a turbine to supplement but the guy said no and the system doesnβt seem to allow it. Oh to have the retyred time to look further .
