Where you see Rayleigh Main Substation the adjoining space now has rows and rows of new Green boxes all set out in rows.
They weren't there a year ago, and they remind me of self contained generator sets.

I tried, but as soon as it’s wheels touched the sand, it’s doors fell offWent and gorra Freelander instead?
I've figured out that it does it when you press space for the next word. The word you enter, shows on the screen, but the keyboard suggestion is what it changes to when you press spaceGoogle needs to stop 'auto changing ' words to what it thinks you want to say
Think that's just a nervous reaction to the price of the paperMorning All.
A tad chilly this morning.
It must be an age thing but every day my eyes stream as I walk to get the papers.
Have a great day.

Any planning experts here? let's say I want to build a big "barn" on my field.. that's a steel building.. it will hold "machinery" (defenders, 2 post lifts, hay on the side of it for aesthetics).. is that agricultural .. yes i know i should seek professionally help..
Depends how much space you have. If you have over 5 hectares the permitted development rules are quite generous. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi...al-development-on-units-of-5-hectares-or-more A thousand square metres of shed space sounds like quite a lot to me.Any planning experts here? let's say I want to build a big "barn" on my field.. that's a steel building.. it will hold "machinery" (defenders, 2 post lifts, hay on the side of it for aesthetics).. is that agricultural .. yes i know i should seek professionally help..
So this is the bit I'm stuck on, does this count across just the 1 single piece of land or can i include my other fields next to me also?Depends how much space you have. Less than 5 hectares and more than 0.4 this may be of some use https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi...units-of-less-than-5-hectares/made?view=plain A lot of it is phrased in terms of what you can't do, but by implication if it's not prohibited then it's in the sort of ballpark which they permit. i.e away from the boundaries and not too tall if you're near an airfield, and not apt to discharge sewage near a protected building and so on.
It says 'which are reasonably necessary for the purposes of agriculture' So, if challenged, you could make the case that you need somewhere to store materials and equipment, to maintain and repair your equipment, store feed for animals, or agricultural or forestry products derived from the land, shelter animals kept on the land, provide space for a welfare cabin/office, and so on.
