Sqwiggle gone. Chuck and chips fer tea. Then a magpie came to attack me feeder. Eye is going to weave tie raps round the bottom metal bits so it cant gerrit's beak in. One of me sunfliwer heads is missing. They is finished and sort of dieing. Was going to dig em up but eye will now leave them as is so me sqwiggle fiend can av them.

'Tis the same as wot Anglian Water did at Wimblowdriver Towers, when the joint at their water meter bursted. Any road up, I got a roll of self amalgamating tape to wrap the compression fittings as corrosion protection, before I fill the hole in with sand n ballast.
Good call! I would have tried for "sweated" fittings, but any trace of water and you are on a hiding to nothing. So compression and encapsulation is a good option. :)

Guy Martin isn't fat

Mates dad used to do the TT, and managed a finish more than once. And in the early 70's my mate did the passenger part with his dad, I think by then they were racing a Konig engine. Most of the sidecar racers of which I remember back then, worked at or had connections with BSA, and had access to race parts not available to Joe Public.

Not the sidecars but Me Dad and his brothers managed to get a bike around theTT.
They made most of the NSU quickly, quicker :) And used to scrounge any castrol r they could get

And apparently Barry was a spoilt brat ;).
