Many years ago a Freelander owner on ere washed his Freelander. He left the rear passenger door open after washing round the door frame. He forgot he left the door open and reversed oft his drive and knocked the door on a bollard. It was then mistakenly said the doors fall oft when wet. Water was involved when it was washed, therby weakening the alleged structure and lack of integrity!

there was also a recent issue when someone opened their Freelander door and another vehicle drove past and knocked if oft. I'll bet it had rained at some time before that happened!

Neither of these events caused door truble due to water. The trouble was caused by knocking them with something other than water, like a bollard or another car. :p
Ergo, it stands to reason that had there not been any water, at any time, and anywhere near, these incidents might not have happened!

Correct?? :p:p:p
