Robins are fierce little fella's and very territorial towards their own species. It is possible to get them to hand-feed after a good while getting to know you. Blackbirds are God's Choristers and nothing is a s sweet as blackbird song in the garden. Enjoy their company.

Yes, I had an early morning scrap on my patio this morning - three robins.

I lived in Chatham for 32 years, went there in 1983 to do a 5 month contracting job but stayed a bit longer. Both daughters born there. When I did my house move back north I bought a trailer to do the move, most of it was garage stuff and garding stuff and a few sticks of furniture etc. Took 12 trips with the trailer and landy to do it, mostly single handed (with help from the little doggy). In winter.

Yup, we've collared a couple of big strong boys, one wimpy son-in-law and a fairly wide, pregnant daughter (who is charge of 'that-box-goes' ) ....

And me who is banned from lifting coz I've got gall stone trouble, so is driving ... and then some more driving ....

I gave our local bunch of noisy muckers, the starlings, a bag of mealworms this mornin', give 'em half a chance against tomorrows wind and rain ....

Good evening from Shotton.
This will be another early start to get me home for 07.00hrs.
Hope the predicted winds don’t arrive as need a quiet day to get home then to do some height works in London.

Height works, if outside, may well be cancelled ...

the windyblow and rainypour will be inconvenient ....

Whats always funny is when they get you to put the harness on them attach to the boom arm. Now if it falls over your going with it & no chance of jumping off at the last minuet
I will take some photos as it’s at an interesting famous church ;)
