Back road here flooded & old farmer is known to put big blocks in the water. There are signs saying road closed as the wash from the cars floods into his yard & towards the house. Once there is a couple of stuck cars everyone else avoids the lane. All for the sake of saving 1 mile of the journey

There are a few 4x4 drivers who routinely ignore Road Closed signs, they can be a pain ...

Some farmer chao called me out to fix his "broken" Ferguson TE-20 aka "grey fergie" which in this case is red ;)

the Flapper had broken off the exhaust and with all this torrential rain, had filled No2 Cylinder with water.

Ahhh!!!

No buildings around so i couldn't tow it undercover, so píssing down with rain plugs pulled out, turn it over and water shoots out.

Plugs back in..

Starts up..

Then it proceeds to shoot a metric **** tonne of milky emulsion out the PCV straight down my shirt.

It had been sat for a good while with knackered rings and water pishing down the bores, it has filled the crankcase with water. o_O

Only when i pulled the dipstick and a gallon of water ****ed out, that i realised.

Turns out it had been sat outside for over 2 weeks!!!

I'm Soaked though to the bone..

And i looked like all kinds of shít

Long'ish hair and rain doesn't mix, that i'll note too..

:D

Love this job.
