Makes me wonder why yer risk eating oot. Eye once seen a customer eating their own food in a restaurant wiv us, because they had the same problem and were feddup wivvit.
Places are a lot more in gear with it now, but we do tend to go to places we trust. Many have separate gluten free menus others mark appropriate dishes with "gf".
A lot of places only the head chef cooks them. Cote brasserie is great.
In France again it really is less of a problem than it used to be, as in the UK they cannot risk getting it wrong and getting sued, or a bad rep on all the internet sites, like Tripadvisor.
We don't have a problem if we check, if we don't get a good vibe on booking we don't bother.
One of our fave places got quite upset when we didn't remind them about it as they like to get her special really nice gluten free bread.
It could be worse, it could be peanut allergy. ;)

Oh yer ive seen loads of floating caravans all wired up with the same colour wiring mainly red or black. It aint fun
got to wonder what goes through peoples heads when doing it.......probably thinking im going to make someones
life a misery one day lol
Many of those kit cars are wired by some sparky type or autoelectrician who will be owning and driving it. They always seem to be able to sort problems out.
but obvs if they sell it.......

Finally managed to be with W when a doc shipped up, only a junior doctor but still able to clarify a lot of stuff.
Big discussion about stoma bags, different types, advantages and disadvantages.
One of the two stoma nurses is very ham-fisted and gives W pain when she more or less rips the old one off her.
Leaves her with torn skin on the stoma which she then has to treat.:(

She doesn't seem to use the special adhesive solvent. W has to do it herself now under supervision but the stoma nurses don't give her enough of the silly little cloths with the solvent on them, in little sachets. So we agreed I'd try and get some of the solvent. Amazingly Tesco pharmacy had a spray can of it. 100 mls - £17.40. (Ouch!) I can see now why the nurses are so tight with the cloths!

They seem to be tied in to give/sell only one type of bag, not the ones W wants to use. It'll be OK once she gets out as she can get what she wants either via tinternet or ordered through a chemist. Both ways only with a prescription obvs.

It is tricky for her with her back problem at least when home I'll be able to help her. They expect her to bend over to a point beyond where she can and do it while holding a mirror. As my Dad used to say, "And with my left foot cracking walnuts!"

Hopefully in 6 months they'll be able to operate again and join the two ends up, so obviating all this biz.
I think she'll get used to it quite quickly. My bruv who has 2 "bags for life" says that in little time it becomes second nature.
All part of life's rich tapestry!

No, that goes off.
I have a powerpack which I leave plugged into the cig lighter so that it is kept topped up when I'm driving - it is used to power up two fans for the dogs when I leave them in the vehicle with the engine is switched off- and I have observed that this continues to be topped up for several minutes after the ignition is switched off and everything else has 'gone off'. I am not technically minded but this is the best way I can describe my observation of what happens.

Should be ok, probs stays on for cooling fan and puter system checks. 👍

Cannot believe it.
After buying a noo O2 sensor for the Pluriel, the engine warning light has gone off and is staying off.
So it ain't a pending fault as I must have started it 6 or 8 times since this happened.
So it sits on the passenger seat waiting for the flipping light to come on.
Blasted thing musta sed to itself. "Let's get him at it, make him spend £55 for no good reason then keep him guessing. "
and if I break the seal I have to keep it.
AND I don't even know if it is the right one without jacking the car up, putting it on at least one axle stand and having a good gander.
Flipping electronix.:mad::mad:

Thats a bugger init once you send the sensor back it the light will come back on.

Might as well put it in the parts bin to be sold with the motor. 🤣🤣
This is one of those cars that w loves so much she'll spend anything to keep it on the road.
TBH it is quite fun. Not really my thing but better abroad. When you can strip it down (i.e. do all the roof lowering removal stuff) and enjoy it like that.
Just wish I didn't have to fix the blasted rear window mechs so often!
And I'd like to toon it up a bit.
For what it is it's quite quick and surprises a lot of idiots who think it is just a girlie or hairdresser car.
I'd like to tweak the anti-roll bars, remap it and if poss stick a turbo or a supercharger on it. As well as a discrete but wider bore exhaust. The sort of thing I have done a lot in the past.
Then it would be my fave car, a sleeper. 🤣 🤣 🤣
